All Clippy brackets utilize a cobalt-chrome clip which extends the full width of the bracket slot – and depending on the size and shape of the arch wire chosen – interacts with the arch wire either passively or actively (partially or fully). This clever design allows the orthodontic forces and tooth movement to be easily controlled according to the stage or phase of treatment.

For example, in an .022” slot, most round wires will slide freely within the slot and without contact with the bracket clip allowing rapid tooth leveling and alignment. Square wires (eg .018 x .018”) then provide a level of early torque and rotational control by interacting with clip only partially and large rectangular wires interact fully with the clip providing complete expression of the bracket prescription.

The brackets can be easily opened (either from the gingival side or the front of the bracket if necessary) using a variety of hand instruments and closed using a finger tip.

Available in all common prescriptions and slot sizes.
